08:00 am: Our car and guide will meet you at your hotel and start the Hue City Tour.

Morning:

• Dragon boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda

Our private Hue sightseeing tour has to start to visit Thien Mu (Heavenly Lady) pagoda overlooking the Perfume River which at 7 stories high originally built in 1601. We will arrange a private Dragon boat trip along the Perfume River from city to Pagoda for you to enjoy the peaceful vibe of the city from the boat. (Important Reminder: Please wear clothes that cover your knees when visiting this place)

• Old garden house:
• The Hue Citadel story 

We must eventually leave the Thien Mu Pagoda and explore the amazing 19th century Citadel of Hue which surrounds the original Imperial City, the Purple Forbidden Palace and various ancient monuments. More recently in 1968, and during the Tet Offensive, the most famous “Battle of Hue” resulted in enormous damage to both the city and Citadel – you will see signs of this and rebuilding works to this day.

• Hue Royal Antiques Museum – A collection of ornaments from the Nguyen dynasty.

Afternoon:

• The best of Hue Local Food 

Returning to Hue city we visit Banh Khoai Lac Thien, an amazing Hue local restaurant where you can try their legendary Banh Khoai along with Bun Bo Hue and Nem Lui. Those are must-eat Hue specialty that you have to try while in the city.

• Khai Dinh Tomb: Khai Dinh Tomb is a special Hue tomb that was built during the transition of Vietnam into colonized era by France. You will be amazed by its fusion art and architecture.

• Minh Mang Tomb: Minh Mang Tomb is about 20 kilometer away from Hue Center. The red and yellow lacquer building combined with the straight line of palaces will speak a lot about the Emperor’s personality himself.

• Conical hat village, incense stick making village: The end of your day in Hue, we will visit the Conical hat village, incense stick making village. At here, you can see ingredients and how to make incense by yourself.

04:30 pm – 05:00 pm: Time to say goodbye: Back to your hotel in Hue city in your comfortable transport ending your wonderful day with us. You won’t be saying “I wish I had more time in Hue” after visiting our best recommendation above.
